This Week – Grand Jury Investigation

Nearly a year ago, we brought you the story of the covid grand jury, which two senators, Dennis Linthicum and Kim Thatcher, and Dr. Henry Ealy were trying to impanel. The goal was to hold Fauci and others responsible for using knowingly falsified evidence to grab power, misspend trillions, and trample our basic rights.

When it’s the biggest crime in human history, a grand jury is necessary. Because a corrupt government cannot and will not hold itself accountable. They’re the criminal.

That case is getting closer to resolution. But, naturally, there have been twists and turns (odd ones!) and hills yet to climb.

The Dog Ate my Deposition

It’s a given. The last thing the government wants is to investigate its own abuse of power. Or its own malfeasance. Its misuse of $3.5 trillion in taxpayer funds—which included the theft of hundreds of billions.

Investigate you with 87,000 new IRS agents for not keeping a receipt? Oh yeah. They are happy to look into that. Not so its own crimes.

Tune in this week to hear some of the oddest things as the government tries to weasel out from under citizen’s rightful watchful eye. Like a prosecutor suddenly declaring he was going to work for the defense. Who then suddenly got reassigned to the hinterlands. And the old second-grade excuse by the government: the dog ate my homework. Not quite. But also not kidding.

Grand Juries – What, Why, and How

In addition to talking with Sen. Linthicum, we talk with Kelly Mordecai, who wrote the book on grand juries: The Hidden 4th Branch: A Corrupt Government’s Worst Nightmare. As an engineer, he took a systemic look at grand juries as the most effective, remaining tool we have to hold government accountable. He helps us understand the process and walks us through the ups and downs of the case.

Think of it. Misspending $3.5 trillion of public monies, millions of businesses impacted or ruined, the trampling of so many of our rights, and millions of lives lost and tens of millions more impacted certainly qualifies as the biggest crime ever.

And this effort to impanel a grand jury is immensely important. With more and more coming out every day about the vaccines’ adverse effects and the government admitting they were wrong, now is the time. Not jut to hold people accountable for the biggest crime in human history. But to make sure it can’t happen again.

Because if they get away with it. We know they’ll try again.

This Week – The Mar a Lago Raid

With the Mar a Lago raid, the resident in the White House once again demonstrated he was elected through voter fraud. Simply, if you won by millions of votes, there’s no need to try to prosecute people who say you didn’t. If you won legitimately and fairly and honestly, you have nothing to fear. But you do have plenty to fear if you didn’t. And even more so if the person who says you didn’t has evidence that you didn’t.

Is that what the FBI was after when they decided to raid Mar a Lago? Trump was sitting on evidence of voter fraud? Or maybe it was evidence of the Russia collusion hoax, which proved who was involved and what they did. Or perhaps it was all a set up. The government packed his boxes with confidential materials that they could then claim Trump stole — in a scheme to stop him from running again.

Regardless, the FBI and DOJ deciding to raid Mar a Lago will go down in history as one of the most unseemly acts of any president. Even Nixon wouldn’t have done it. Think of that.

And did you catch that weird “we must punish those who oppose us” speech from Biden the other day? It looked like what would happen if Hitler and Stalin had a baby.

But all of this points to one conclusion: the FBI and DOJ are beyond redemption. And pretty much every other agency.

And THAT is the reason they raided Mar a Lago. Punish anyone who would expose and oppose the system.

The FBI Must be Dismantled

When a limb gets infected with gangrene, many times it needs to be amputated. We’re at that stage with the FBI.

We’re also at that stage with the CIA. The NSA. The SEC. And certainly with the FDA, CDC, EPA, and the Energy, Education, and a host of other departments. And let’s definitely not forget about the IRS. The infection and corruption has become so widespread within these agencies, they need to amputated or the whole body will die.

The FBI and DOJ are clinging to this notion that they can still be trusted. Sorry. That’s not how trust works. You can’t say “trust me” when you just committed untrustworthy actions.

This week, we talk with Scott Shephard who is an attorney and himself a director of a program—an “agency”—at the National Center for Public Policy Research. We get his insights from an attorney’s viewpoint and that of a director/manager about what needs to happen to the FBI. Is it time for the FBI to be disbanded? Or can they still be saved? How can you tell? And what to do if (when!) they are disbanded. Now that the emotions have died down—a little—from the Mar a Lago raid, we can dissect what happened and what to be done.

And of course we can’t have Scott on without a quick catch up on two of The Free Enterprise Project’s lawsuits: Against Starbucks just filed this week and one already at trial against Nasdaq.

But her background is in accounting, overseeing budgets and forecasting for major companies. So when she looks at the healthcare crises, she is viewing it not just from an insurance standpoint but from a systemic-analyst’s viewpoint.

The Root Cause of So Many Healthcare Crises

This week, you’ll also hear an extended opener from I Spy Radio host, Mark Anderson, on the government’s interference — sabotage, really — of the normal free-market forces that would normally lower cost and improve care. Mark walks you through what a free market system would look like. Hint: we don’t have one now (remember Obama et al. when they were pushing Obamacare: “the free market failed”?), not in health care. And he walks you through the government interfering with the free market, much of which can be traced back to a 1943 IRS ruling.

If you didn’t already think “they” are destroying things on purpose, you’ll believe it after this show. No one, no government, makes this many “mistakes” on purpose.

This Week – Dobbs and EPA

Instead of two guests, we have two topics. We are going to dig in deep into two recent Supreme Court decisions: the Dobbs and EPA rulings.

Specifically, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and WV v EPA. These two decisions alone represent a huge shift at SCOTUS.

Both of rulings these are momentous in their own rights.

Dobbs because it erases an imaginary “Constitutional right” of abortion and will open the door to more protections for the unborn at the state level. And the EPA ruling, because it restores some Constitutional balance among the branches of government. And opens the door to weakening the administrative state. Provided that Congress exercises the power that was restored to it.

Did the 2022 elections just get yugely more important? Yes.

Dobbs Overturns Roe v Wade

Why was Roe v Wade so hard to overturn? How did the 1973 court get is so wrong and invent a “right”? Tune in to find out. And, also importantly, going forward Dobbs gives SCOTUS the mental permission — the fortitude and courage — to make other rulings that restore constitutional order.

The era of the John Roberts court is officially over.

Could America, after all the shrieking is done, could America turn more pro life after the overturn of Roe v Wade with more protections for the unborn? And could we be witnessing the beginning of the end of the Deep State?

West Virginia vs EPA – First Major Blow to the Deep State

As Jonathan Emord reminds us, the administrative state is the true government because they hold all the real power. Effectively. Because Congress has not used its power. And the Executive Branch has both abused its power through overreach and failed to use its power to rein in unelected bureaucrats.

The EPA ruling just restored the separation of powers in a big way. The EPA grabbed a tremendous amount of power when it decided it could use the Clean Air Act to effectively regulate the entire economy via climate change. Now, its WV v EPA ruling stripped the EPA of that power and handed it back to Congress. Effectively, SCOTUS reaffirmed that laws must come through Congress, not the unelected bureaucrats of the administrative state. And, potentially, could strip billions from the Far Left’s theft of public dollars.

With these two rulings, we stand at the threshold of history.

Lost in the shrieking and wailing over the loss of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court’s EPA ruling will have a long-lasting impact on the administrative branch’s power grab.

For decades, there has been a fourth branch of government, which has become the real rulers of America. Congress has done nothing to rein it in, other than to complain about it. The EPA ruling makes it clear: agencies cannot grab power that Congress did not give it.

The dirty truth about the Fourth Branch is that Congress is okay with it. Why? Because if some agency makes the rules, then Congress (and individual congressmen and senators) can’t be blamed. Because they didn’t do it. Gosh. It was those sneaky bureaucrats.

Let’s face it. The average member of Congress and the Senate are far, far more concerned about getting reelected. And the Fourth Branch, the administrative state, doing the dirty work gives them political cover. Legislators can go in, ask a few talking-point questions they hope will make the news, and then go off for drinks and parties.

Well, the EPA ruling puts the wheels of reform in motion. If Congress chooses to retake its power.

We know. Depending on Congress to do the right thing seems pretty hopeless. But there is good news.

Why the EPA Ruling Matters

The good news is the EPA ruling means we don’t need Congress. Because they’re lazy and they can get to their parties a whole lot faster if they don’t have to do anything. Or read bills. Just let the bureaucrats handle the important stuff.

Well, with the EPA ruling, it means we don’t need Congress to rein in the administrative state. Remember, to get this ruling, congress didn’t do anything. It wasn’t congress challenging the administrative state, it was West Virginia. They’d sued over coal power plants the EPA wanted to kill using power it had seized under the Clean Air Act. Congress had nothing to do with this win.

So the good news is, we the people don’t need Congress. If the administrative state steps out of line and tries to grab power, individuals can stop them in their tracks.

This Week – Our 12th Annual Fourth of July Show

How has it been 12 years already? Time flies when you’re keeping an eye on big government I guess, but every year we focus on the Fourth of July and events around it that make the founding of this great country so unique and special.

Previously, we’ve focused on such things as celebrating the Fourth down through History, what those early celebrations looked like. The Declaration of Independence itself, the rights and grievances listed therein. Celebrating the Fourth on the Oregon Trail, the Fourth of July during the Civil War, the first 50 years, major anniversaries, and others. And last year’s focus on the some of the signers of the Declaration (and its predecessor petition).

But for this year’s Fourth of July show, we are focusing on the guy. George Washington. The guy who won the war and without whom America might never have existed. Except for a brief, failed attempt at freedom. Squashed by a ruthless king.

We look at his early years, his rural upbringing that often left him feeling inadequate in high society, his involvement in the French and Indian War—which made him a celebrity on both sides of the Atlantic—and the continual Hand of Providence on his life that saved him time and again.

And, naturally, we look at his Revolutionary War accomplishments. His defeats and his victories. And how he persevered through both. We look at his personal struggles too, including getting through the deep betrayal of Benedict Arnold, which Washington blamed himself for and nearly quit.

Tune in to hear about America’s quintessential hero. The man for his time. And a man even King George III came to admire.

Real School Choice Ballot Initiative: Round 2

That was the sign Bill Clinton had in the Oval Office. It was a reminder that what really mattered to people was a strong, growing economy, With jobs and opportunities, lower prices and a chance to live the American dream.

But as with all government-run economies, we are quickly lurching toward a crash when the big government types will have a reckoning. Government-dominated economies never work.

You are living in the transition stages of a switch from capitalism to socialism. High food prices. High energy prices. Exploding inflation. High crime.
