It lied about the “constitutionality” of Roe v Wade, leading to a generation of ill-informed Leftists believing it was constitutional. Which, because of that lie, lead to others. The lie that it was just a “clump of cells.” The lie that a unborn baby didn’t feel pain. It wasn’t human.
Amazing how many lies were spun to keep the big lie going. And that’s just one example. But did you ever notice that when the government is acting unconstitutional, it involves lies?

AG Perlow said, the Governor’s priority is offenders of crimes, many of them violent, and ensuring they have a ‘meaningful opportunity to be released’ before they complete their duly secured criminal sentences,” she said in a statement about the legal petition. “Victims of crime, and all other Oregonians, deserve the enforcement of their rights. It is essential that all Oregonians, including public officials, adhere to the rule of law.
If Gov. Kate Brown’s clemency powers remain unchallenged, it could mean the release of violent offenders, including a man who stabbed his grandmother to death, another who killed a woman with the mental capacity of a 12-year-old and then burned her body beneath a bridge, and a then-17-year-old who shot his older brother three times in the head.

The Great Pushback Against Tyranny
Have you noticed more and more countries are throwing off the mandates? First the U.K. Then Denmark. Now Finland. And others soon to follow.
And even here in the U.S., more and more cities and states are just done with the mandates.
Resisting Tyranny in Oregon
This week, we’re talking with two public-official heroes (in our book) who are standing up to the overreach of Oregon’s government — from inside government.
Mary Starrett, who tangled with her county’s public health board to get accurate data and more balance to their website, rather than just the official narrative. But doing so led to an strange fight with county health board. Which seemed oddly desperate to get a letter from the county commissioners as they sought accreditation from a non-profit no normal person has heard of. Or cares about.
Why so desperate? Could it be they want to be the “Ministry of Truth” for health? Setting up the one true narrative for covid? Why is Yamhill County Health so afraid of alternative treatments? “Accredited” sites are, of course, a means to look like theirs is the “sanctified source,” which then—psychologically—becomes the ministry of truth for all things covid.
And seizing control of the narrative stops people from being able to ask questions. Because under tyranny, you’re not allowed to ask questions. You’re not allowed alternative treatments. But you are allowed to obey.

Is Oregon Attempting to Blackmail the Alsea School District?
Marc Thielman, as Alsea school superintendent, seems to be always tangling with the State. This time, it’s about masks — and the state’s attempts to essentially blackmail Alsea into compliance.
Weird! Is it a mask mandate? Or a mask fetish? (Click for full size)
Recently, his school district decided to make masks optional. Why? Because that’s CDC guidance. (Bet you haven’t heard that, have you?) But Oregon can’t tolerate being disobeyed. Why does Oregon want so desperately to keep people — especially kids — in masks? It’s a weird psychosis, really.
And considering that more and more studies are showing the mandates, from lockdowns to masks and plenty in between, have done more harm than good, bureaucrats might just be headed for a lawsuit.
Marc Thielman was also the chief petitioner to get Real School Choice on the ballot, which would have created an amendment to Oregon’s constitution, giving it an extra level of security from a regular bill passed into law, making it harder for future legislators from dismantling it. But elected Democrats say they’re for education, just not good education and no one should be able to teach kids except democrats. Which is why democrat Secretary of State, Shemia Fagan, killed it. Find out the ridiculous, convoluted “reasoning” behind her decision. And why she was so wrong. But it’s not over. More resisting tyranny in Oregon on this front too.

SLF recently discovered some documents the nation’s largest teachers’ union, the NEA (National Education Association) tried to hide from the public about what, exactly, they were supporting being taught in America’s classrooms. Now, why would they want to hide that? We talk with Kimberly Hermann about just what they discovered on the NEA’s website. And we talk with her about the continuing battles in the classroom. Including some legal remedies for parents who’ve been contacted by the FBI after they show up at board meetings.

Vaccine Mandate Struck Down
This week: last Friday, in a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court struck down one of two vaccine mandates—the OSHA mandate that tried to force companies with more than 100 employees to force their employees to take an experimental covid vaccine. But in a 5-4 decision, they left another vaccine mandate intact. Why? Why the difference?
We welcome back Jonathan Emord, one of America’s top constitutional attorneys to discuss the difference. And what this means for the vaccine mandates, the other mandates, and, especially, what this means for the future rights of Americans.
The fight for your freedom is not over as neither of these two cases are fully over.
Did these ruling shake the plans for the “Great Reset”, both here in America ans abroad? In the shadow of the rulings, Boris Johnson, abruptly announced the end of all covid mandates. Masks in public, social distancing, masks in schools, vaccines, and their plans for a vaccine passport.

A Year in Review: The Good, the Bad, and the Democrats
Last week we talked with Alek Skarlatos about the democrats’ gerrymandered congressional districts. This week we look a little deeper. Yes, the democrat gerrymandering is a problem but there is another monkey wrench they threw in the elections gears in 2021.
Actually, it’s more of a sledgehammer.

We also look ahead at 2022 and the challenges ahead. There are some great Republican candidates for governor. And, yes, there is a potential monkey wrench there too. Betsy Johnson. While she would be a far better democrat candidate than the ultra far left Tina Kotek or the so-called “moderate” carpetbagger Nicholas Kristoff, she’s running as an independent. Not a democrat.
That says a lot, doesn’t it?
Because she must not believe an independent-minded blue-dog democrat can win in Oregon. At least not get the win in the democrat primary. How will a third-party candidate impact the race? Split the votes and ensure a democrat win? Or split the democrats and let a Republican slip by?
We also look ahead to 2022. What are some of the key issues for Republicans to run on and attract both non-affiliated voters. And even democrats? Here’s a hint: we talked about one of them last week.
